So when i purchased my dart I had made some very minimal changes to the paint on the front bumper, really only the crosshairs and molding. I had sprayed the molding with black plastidip and it came out so matte black I have always hated it, but liked the black better than the blue as that's what the more sportier models of the dart has. I also sprayed the crosshairs neon blue, to hopefully brighten up my true blue pearl, but it really didnt do anything or match to well 😕
I was finally able to rip apart my front bumper this weekend and redo everything! I had decided instead of making black my secondary color (as you can hardly notice a difference between black and true blue pearl), I would make it silver, like my aluminum rims, since they pop quite a bit with it 😁
I have attached some pics of the before and after. I'm really in love with the new paint, as it matches so much more 😍 Alls I did was paint both grilles silver, ripped off the neon blue plastidip and brought it back to oem black, along with painting the center of the crosshairs silver, and ripping off the black plastidip and brought it back to oem blue.
Just thought I would share with everyone as I haven't really seen this type of paint work done yet 😋 i think it's super pretty and will be adding more silver around my car in the future! I have already got a list of the next parts I'm gonna be changing up
