I had tried that this morning and I have no more flashing odometer 😁 but my speakers are still messed up... I performed another proxy alignment, and did it the same way. Car was running why I did the proxy, then took out the key and locked the doors. I will see tomorrow morning if that fixes anything... but no more flashing odometer is a start 😊
Mind sharing with us where u read that at? Link would be awesome. I too have alfaobd and obdlink tool. Been trying to get the odometer from flashing but no luck. Getting ecu mismatch- not configured message also

Did u try the proxi again? Did it fail again with the same module? That module is ur handsfree module. Mine wasn't communicating at all when I tried the proxi a few days ago. It would freeze up and give a failed Message on alfaobd app. But I noticed my handsfree buttons, usb port weren't working so I unplugged the connectors from the module for about 3 min and plugged it back and they began working again. Haven't tried the proxi just yet but Im sure now it will communicate with it and pass.

Just curious how did you access the CTM? I tried pulling one at a junkyard this last weekend. I ended up removing the steering column and cluster. The connectors face the firewall and the bracket is so long, there is almost no room to get to the connectors. I spent over an hour before I got it out.

From what I understand the OP is able to complete the PROXI but then still has the blinking odometer and this suggests the problem is the BCM.

It took me like ten minutes to find the location of the module. But I reached in there with my hand and felt around, mentally picturing the design of the module and found the connectors that way. I unplugged them and plugged them back after 4 min. Reason why it took four minutes was because the USB connector wasn't going in or at least I was putting it in the wrong place lol but as u can see from the picture, u can see one screw there , the other should be on the top opposite corner of it. I'm heading to the junkyard this weekend to pull a few out .

Ugh, that gives me flashbacks. I replaced a ctm on a Dart a couple of years ago, and it was a pita to get to.

The problem is that long bracket. What were they thinking? The screw on the long arm is accessible after removing the cluster. The other screw is from underneath (pic below). Then you have to figure out how to get the whole bracket and CTM out of there. That was when I took off the steering column.

I was in a similar situation when I ran a PROXY alignment, everything looked fine however my odometer was flashing. As a last resort I did an oil change reset (ignition ON, gas pedal floored 3x) and the flashing odometer was gone.
