      Thanks.
Probably would have to change car configuration and switch it to something other than the alpine system.

That makes sense but I figured I would lose other features along with it.

I just wanted to post back. Now matter what I did I couldn't get the proxy alignment done. I tried switching audio systems and tried disabling it to with no luck. I had to pull the glove box out and hook up the oem amp and then do it. Took about 30 min to get it out 10 to put it back in and just a min on the proxy alignment.

It's done now. I need to leave well enough alone some times. Thank you guys for your help and accepting a 200 owner in your forum..

      Chad

As long as you have the vehicle’s RF PIN code you can program fobs

Awesome! So no difference between Android or PC versions correct? All have same updates?

If you get android version, is it stuck to the phone you have, or is it transferable?

Thinking of getting the PC version anyway, because lap top is much larger screen than staring at my phone.

The PC version is a little complicated to set up, unless you are familiar with com settings. Once you buy the app at Google Playstore, you can install it to as many android devices as you want as long as you are using the same google email address. With the android app, updates are automatic. With the PC version, you have to keep checking for updates. The android version seems to get more frequent updates probably because more people have the android version. The phone version is actually very user friendly and I have no problem reading the smaller screen. I have the app on a tablet and on a phone and I prefer the phone. One PROXI pays for the both the app and the bluetooth adapter and you have both for future diagnosis issues. It works with all newer FCA vehicles. 2018 up Rams have a Security Gateway Module that can be bypassed with a special cable. Apparently FCA is aware of alfaOBD and are trying to figure out ways to keep people from using it. If you want to program key fobs, you will need to get the 4 digit PIN code from the dealer. This is not the rolling code that some dealers think you are asking for. Some dealers will refuse to give the PIN to you because FCA knows about alfaOBD. Just go to another dealer with proof of ownership. I have heard that there is an app to pull the PIN, not sure, I haven't tried it.

I have the PC version and it’s not as user friendly as the android version. Plus the activation code is tied to the specific PC. I would only recommend the PC version of you don’t have access to an android device

Thanks for this great find! 2 dealerships I go to told me this couldn't be done. ..I was able to swap my RE2 for an RB5 . I have a Sirius subscription , so going to car configuration and adding the option for Travel Link, then doing a proxy align added the "plus" for Travel Link and settings. I had a few codes on the car after, for the ABS and airbag. I cleared the codes and did another proxy align and everything has been working great.
The developer also responded very quickly to my email questions.
