      Dart 2.4 14mpg problem

      Hi

I visit this forum every week and always find useful information to improve or even fix the problems in my dart.

But today is not the day...

Few months ago I had a dart 13 2.0 and it was really good in gas consumption, sold that car and got second hand dart 2.4 2016 and now these one suck gas like v8... 14mpg .

Checked every fuse and every hose and lines... all good and no leeks.

Changed spark plugs to ngk lx lfr5aix-11

      added cheap air intake

Did a full clean of throtle body and air sensor.

      Reset all memory with alfaobd.

      Relearm gas pedal sensor .

No CEL and im out of ideas to check what coul be wrong ... I hope anyone here had same problem and help me to fix it . Already tried to find info in here but didnt find anything related.

Sorry my english.... im not in usa

      Thanks in advance

O2 sensor? there isn't always an engine light for a failing sensor, usually it waits for it to fail completely. the upper O2 sensors is the one that regulates the fuel mileage.

I have also seen that when they become fouled. a fouled sensor would result in poor fuel economy without setting an engine light.

      thanks for reply

Im going to check and clean all the sensors and see if that helps.

      **EDIT**

checked both front O2 sensors today and no problems with those... did some clean aswell but still sucking gas like v8

      any ideas?
