White smoke in AC vents, no coolant smell

I got a few small whisps of white smoke from the AC vents. I didnt smell coolant and there is no coolant leaking on the passenger floor board so I dont think its the heater core. Im not sure whatelse it could be. The AC runs fine, i do get an almost exhaust smell sometimes but not often however it just passed smog so i dont see how it could be an exhaust leak. Any ideas?

White smoke typically indicates something burning. The first suspicion would be the fan motor.

I would guess it's just condensation. If it has no odor, dissipates quickly and only happens on occasion, it's likely just moisture. Try to notice what you and the car are doing when it happens. like switching from vent to defrost, or A/C temp changes. notice relative humidity and precipitation levels. all of those things might give you a hint. Another thing you could do, put a parakeet in the cabin of your car and see if it dies. If it does, take the car to a mechanic. bury the poor bird first though.

Pull out the cabin filter and inspect it for damage. If somthing is getting into the system the cabin filter should be catching it.

I had exactly the same thing back when I first bought my 2016 1.4L.
Couple of solid/dense white puffs of almost oily smelling (defiantly not burning electronics/capacitor) smoke out the center vents after a bit of a spirited drive up a highway. Took it to the stealership, they couldn't replicate it.
It only happened a handful of times in the first 2k. Hasn't happened since (though I did get the radio replaced around 1k for dropping/reaquiring Bluetooth multiple times every trip. It still puffed a couple times after that).

Never figured out what it was, although PCM fried at 9k...
