We time the orders so you receive the part the day you start wondering where it is
Maximizes the whole anticipation thing and all that...

(yes, I'm kidding- but we do often upgrade shipping from Std to Priority if it takes us more than a couple days to get an item out the door)

Finally got a chance to install it earlier today, I managed to do it without unbolting the downpipe while the car was on ramps. I highly recommend following the directions instead of skipping steps like I did, I could have saved myself a lot of frustration xD
So far I did notice a bit of vibration at idle, but nothing that's really bothersome. You can definitely tell the difference when shifting though, and it seems to get power to the wheels a little faster.

Just bumping this thread since it has the how-to in it, and we've been getting some questions. I'll try to get some actual instructions written up, now that we have the FSM. Anyone else have their own install pics they'd like to share?

LOVE LOVE LOVE my FIRM Rear Engine mount in Aya...

      Name: firm installed -2.JPG
Views: 498
Size: 689.3 KB

The big bolt that is an 18mm head, the star bolts are 14mm or 15mm depending on how you look at them. Once I had the proper metric sockets and or wrenches, the install was a breeze. No issues at all. I made sure everything was firmly in place (no pun intended) before I bolted everything back up nice and tight. Main issue for me was just getting the right size metric tools I needed to resolve the issues.

Cannot wait to get the trans & engine sides soon...

Have the right tool for the job, yes you can get buy on the star bolts but having the right tool for the job takes the guess work out of it.

for the star bolts I would recommend this set as it has the proper sizes for both doing the mount and for the caliper bracket if you do your own brakes.

      Hey ya'll,

Firm or flex rear mount for my 1.4T manual trans... I live in Denver, 15 degrees this week means lots of defrost in the mornings, high 90's and plenty of sun in the summer means using the A/C. I have zero plans to ever race my dart, my future plans include CAI, intercooler, charge pipes, custom exhaust, ported TB, lightweight pulley... and possibly an entry level tune.

What say youz guys? Read the whole thread. A lot of varying opinions on how you guys feel about the vibrations after install. TIA.
