Good things are coming in many packages for Dodge owners who love performance and delving into Dodge‟s rich history. In honor of the 45th anniversary of the legendary “Scat Pack Club” that played a prominent role in Dodge heritage, Dodge and Mopar today announced the introduction of new Scat Package performance stage kits for the 2014 Dodge Challenger, 2014 Dodge Charger and 2014 Dodge Dart at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas.
2014 Dodge Dart
Completing the Scat Package offerings for Dodge at SEMA is the 2014 Dodge Dart GT, powered by a 184 horsepower 2.4-liter Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission. The Dodge Dart offering consists of three kits, with Scat Package 1 providing a shot in the arm of performance and handling improvements from Mopar through a cold-air intake, performance brake pads and a new short-throw shifter.
At the top level, Scat Package 3 provides the ultimate package for those seeking optimal track times. The 2013 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada has kicked off and the Dodge gearheads are gathering in force for all the inside info. If your a Dodge fan -- uhh who isn't ?-- you are in for a treat. Today, November 5, at 4:40 pm Pacific Dodge will "unveil an exclusive announcement bound to leave the wheels of the automotive world spinning with excitement." There are some rumors floating around that the unveil will be a Scat Pack Performance Package for the Charger and Challenger R. This rumor seems like a good fit seeing that the Chrysler Group has re-registered the trademark for the Scat Pack name, but we also can't help but notice the peculiar time of the unveil. What of it you ask? Well, 4:40 PM is an odd time and it brings us back to the 'old' days of the 440 Six Pack. A whole other engine and set-up than todays 5.7L Hemi , but it is giving us something to think about. We can't stop thinking about a shaker hood option to go with this package.
Judging from the picture above, it appears that we are looking at a Challenger underneath that sheet. It's a safe bet the unveil will be a special edition vehicle, or vehicles, with some vintage decals and performance upgrades. Let the speculation begin. You going with the Scat Pack rumor or.....?

Last season Dodge ditched NASCAR leaving fans scratching their heads and asking "why?". Well, it looks like they were saving up their pennies for none other than Ron Burgundy himself. In total, Will Ferrell aka Ron Burgundy will appear in 70, yes seven zero, ads pimping the 2014 Dodge Durango and they do not disappoint. Whether your a fan of Anchorman or not, you cannot deny Ron has that certain "charm" that is quite entertaining.
Check these ads out for a good laugh. Enjoy......
