Hello everyone, I would like to thank anyone in advance for any advice and help offered.i purchased a 2015 Dodge Dart sxt model in April of 2015, and in the 21 months I have had the car I have taken it to the dealership probably 7 or 8 times for service. I do regular oil changes and tire rotations on the vehicle as needed. A month after purchasing the vehicle I had to take it in because the Bluetooth would connect and than it would click off and disconnect after a minute or so, the dealership replaced every Bluetooth component in the vehicle including the radio. The Bluetooth worked for 3 days and than began having the same issue again so I took it into the dealership once more and they said there wasn't anything they could do and said my phone was the issue. So I went to my cell phone carrier and had my phone replaced. The issue continued so I had my fiancé pair his phone and see if the Bluetooth would work, it did not . I went to the dealership again and they finally were able to get the radio to mess up with the mechanics phone and tried doing software updates to see if it would work. Again it worked for 3 days and than cut out . A few months later I got a flat tire in my front passenger side tire and went to see if they could plug the tire. Apparently my tires were bald , with less than 20,000 my two front tires were bald . So I replaced them. I'm not sure why they went bald so quickly when I rotate my tires every oil change but oh well . The door seals on the front doors are messed up I constantly hear the wind when I'm in the car because of the door seals. I made an appointment to have the door seals replaced and was told to drop the car off on a Sunday when the dealership is closed so they can look at it the next day, however they would not provide a Loaner or rental car seeing as I would be dropping it off on a day they are closed. I wouldn't have a way to get to work while they had my car . The dealership only has one guy do door seals on mondays and they wouldn't let me drop the car off on Friday or Saturday to get a loaner car. Needless to say I have had several issues with the car since I purchased it. The newest issue I am having started last month. My car now takes 25+ minutes to heat up. My thermostat was messed up and needed to be replaced. When I took it to the dealer to have it replaced they said my car wasn't used to the cold weather . I was like excuse me I drove it the winter before and had no issues . They concluded the thermostat needed to be replaced. I am shocked that the car I purchased 21 months ago(while making high monthly payments) has already had so many issues. The Bluetooth still does not work, and the dealerships will not do anything to help me figure out what's wrong and they tell me it's still just my phone. My phone is as up to date as it allowsgiphone 6, all software updates have been done) and the radio had blacked out several times in the last month. I have all the paperwork from every time I have taken it to the dealership. Thank you in advance for any advice on what I can do . I would like to get rid of the car and get something different.
Was this car bought used, or brand-new? That seems like an extraordinary amount of problems for any car to have, so shortly into its life. I don't know any details, myself, but do some googling and other research on “lemon law”; there may be some remedy to be found for you in that.
Also, it sounds like extraordinarily poor service from your dealership. Is there another dealership within a reasonable distance of you that you can try?
Unless you are severely abusing that car, there is no rational reason why you should be having so much trouble with it.
My fiancé and I hardly use the car actually, I only drive it to go 10 miles to and from work everyday(Monday through Friday). Other than that the car doesn't get driven. The closest dealership we could take it too would be an hour away. I bought the car brand new with only 43 miles on the odometer. I agree I cannot believe how many issues I am having with the car especially because I hardly drive it. Thank you for your advice I will check out the lemon laws.

All these issues are probably due to the fact that you barely drive it... cars cant just sit dormant. You need to make sure that you run them! If you only drive the car every once or twice a week and then just let it sit and never start it then of course things can go wrong... cars are meant to be driven not just sat outside constantly and never started. Also, oil changes and tire rotations do not fix everything on a car... so telling us that info was kind of irrelevant (no offense)... for the bluetooth and radio, sometimes electronics go bad and dont work properly... it happens, theres really nothing you can do about it... IF you got charged for the replacement stuff then you have every right to be upset... But if it was taken care of free of charge there should be no issue...

Which dealer? Most of them are terrible.
I've had the best luck with Brunswick Auto Mart, for what it's worth. I haven't been to Medina Auto Mall, but the other dealers I've dealt with have not been worthwhile.

I disagree, driving a car twice a day 5 days out of the week is hardly keeping it "dormant" and this pattern is not so different than mine many weeks. In fact, my commute is even shorter than what
states, about 10kms round-trip to work and back home. My wife's Grand Caravan actually matches the OP's pattern almost perfectly, because it rarely moves on weekends (I use my Dart to run errands for reasons that should be obvious), and it's never been back to the dealer for any reason since I purchased it. It hasn't caused me any problems and I will soon have had my Dart for 4 years and the Grand Caravan for 3. The Bluetooth problem is probably caused by a bad "telematics" module. Plenty of other members have had this hardly uncommon issue, and if the car's under warranty it really shouldn't be such an ordeal to get it replaced.

It's not unreasonable that a specialist would only work once a week, and they are under no obligation to provide a loaner for warranty work. It sounds like the dealer isn't even aware of the touch screen going black, so it's not reasonable to expect them to do anything about it. This car probably does need a new telematics module (not an uncommon problem in FCA vehicles, research would suggest), but the dealer has to try things like resetting it and installing updates (which sometimes solves the issue) before the automaker will authorize replacing parts. Honestly, as far as dealership service goes, this really doesn't sound too terrible, and I think it only seems so horrible to the OP because they apparently live an hour away from the dealership. If they were in my situation, where my dealer of choice is 3-4 minutes from home, and only a 15 minute walk to and from work, none of these issues is likely to have ever risen above the level of being minor frustrations. That perspective is important.
