My Wife got me RimBlades for Christmas, I really Like them. Easy to install and I think they look pretty nice. What do you think? anyone else have them?

yes, I think you would have to hit something pretty hard to get through them to the rim.
They have three versions, the more expensive offers more protection but I think the look would be the same pretty much.
The website is very informative and easy to navigate. RimBlades started in either the UK or Ausy, make sure you are on the US site or shipping is hecka lots. they seem to be the same price even at walmart
I might just have to pick me up some of these. I was going to do the same thing but with plastidip or something
Edit: After reading through their site, these things are actually molded plastic strips that are supposed to offer a bit of a barrier between rim and curb. A bit more heavy-duty than just plastidip or paint. haha
they certainly are, actually very substantial. I don't know how the rimblade would look after hitting a curb, but I would rather replace $50 rimblades than $200 rims
Won't look bad at all IMO, heres a pic of my wheels with blue calipers and the blue pinstripe, and a bunch of other pics in red I found online. I am switching from the pinstripe to Rim Blades myself soon
Anyone having any issues with these? Almost ALL of the reviews I've read say they fall off within just a few months. Curious how all of you have faired.
I've had mine on since the original post....12/31/2015....no problems....We have had nearly 20 days of over 100 degree temps. the last 10 days have been over 110. no problems. I bought my right from Rimblades, shipped them fast, fresh prep packets, no problems at all. I did go ahead and paint my brake calipers.
I really recommend this project. do it right with a fresh kit and they really make your car stand out.
I have them but have been too lazy to install, if that's the case I might try the other types Rim rigs and rim bands. We will have to see im gonna install mine as soon as I get a chance to see how they look.
I have them. They fell off the first day
However I didn't follow directions, it said not drive over 40mph within the first 24 hours of installing them and I did. I brought another box and plan on doing it right this time.
I ordered a set of Rimblades from Pep Boys (silver) during the $19.95 special for my GT and they arrived with the alcohol wipes and primer packets dried out!
Used my own denatured alcohol and paint prep before installing them on the Hyper black GT wheels and they looked great! Car in garage and not driven for 2 full days (twice as long as recommended) and the fronts fell off within 2 days with the backs being removed 2 weeks later when they started to fall off (guessing heat at front was too much causing those to fall off first. Looked great and likely would have protected as advertised is kit was fresh...deal is likely due to OLD stock!

Picked up some cheapos from ebay. Waiting for mudflaps to arrive to install and paint rims all at the same time. After hearing all the bad luck you guys are having with them falling off though i may just paint the red ring on there underneath these. That way if they fall off at least the look won't change.
Got my knockoff blades in the mail from ebay the other day and mudflaps came in the next day. Time to pull the wheels off and do some painting. Calipers, wheels, lug bolts and if time allows, crosshairs, side mirrors, door handles and badges. Now i just need a couple days in a row off. Working Saturdays sucks!
