    Adjusting the Clutch Pedal Depth

Does anyone else feel like the clutch pedal has too much range? I'd like to shorten the distance between the height at which it rests when your foot is off of it and the height it's at when your fully depressing it - is that possible, and would it have an effect on performance, or wear and tear, in the long run?

It does have some travel to it. What I really dislike is how the toe of my foot sometimes get caught between the clutch and the bottom of the steering column cover when engaging the clutch....

On the same note, is there a way to bring the accelerator pedal forward? Maybe I'm a moron but has anyone else noticed that it's a little further back than the brake pedal? I could be wrong I haven't actually gotten down in there but I kind of notice it when I change from my work shoes to my everyday shoes.

Yeah that clutch travels further than my dads dakota. Youll realize obviously it doesnt have to be close to fully pressed to change gears, but it is awfully high up. This was something complained about in a couple reviews also before buying mine. Our pedals all being quite high makes it hard to drive “heel-toe“

I honestly don't mind the clutch pedal travel distance. Don't think i've ever driven a car that had a short travel for the clutch pedal.... except maybe my Jeep Wrangler... don't remember. Parent's Trans-Am also has quite a bit of travel.

Electric: I think MOST cars have the gas pedal slightly offset back from the brake pedal. Believe it's more of a universal safety feature than a goof on Dodge's part. Think about it. If someone was trying to stop the car, but didn't quite have their foot all the way onto the brake... wouldn't you want them to have the brakes applied just a little bit more before they started accidentally pressing the gas pedal? I mean... i've never done so.... but i could quite easily imagine some of the elderly drivers doing such things. Heard my fair share of stories of people going to park their car and then suddenly running right into the building in front of them.

Maybe the tester for the clutch pedal was wearing 6" stilettos.

I jumped out of the Taurus SHO (5 speed manual) and back into the Dart and I would gladly take the Dart's clutch any day. I hate driving that Taurus.. that clutch. It's my brothers old car and he says it's for real drivers haha
