      I haven't driven anything but Chrysler products since 1993 and never had anything like this happen. It's disappointing because the car I gave up was perfectly fine (2011 Chrysler 200).
      No one expects to actually have to use the warranty, at least for anything major, when a car is brand new (first model year car isn't an excuse).

      btw, do you work for Chrysler?

      all is fixed, it wound up being an electrical short. Nothing wrong with the transmission only some kind of sensor. Thankfully!!!
      I drove for the first time yesterday to work and everything seems ok.
      Appreciate the support.

      Ok this is what I know. Have you disconnected the battery? If you loose connection from there even a fraction of a second it screws up the pc brain. Make sure that the little bolt is still on and tight. You cannot just have it sitting on there even thou it looks or acts tight. This needs to be tight. What needs to be done is hillbilly flashed. From what I understand the pos and neg needs to be put togther for 20 mins. I KNOW! WTF!!!!. This has happend to a few people that have added lights or anything that needed to disconnect the battery and did not tighten all the way back down. Strange as it is this is what can or did it. The codes that are put out well be odd and never seen by any dealer because the pc brain just got stun guned and has not got marbles back yet. "Confused"

      My car got this today

      Had to get it towed as well. It sucks and Chrysler isn't offering me a loaner or rental reimbursement. -___-

      I was told if it was warranty work that its up to Chrysler to reimburse the customer for rental fees.
      I asked when they were fixing my exhaust leak and that's the response I got back.

      Wow this was the scariest thing ever I'm glad my dart isn't the only one with this problem because I had no idea what could be causing this. I tried auto starting it and it shut off which usually means something's wrong and sure enough engine light came on. I drove it not even down the street and service transmission pops up and it cuts off or misfired I'm not really sure how to explain it. And I'm sure car engine cut off but I was panicking I am not positive. But it started right back up and no service transmission came back up and I was able to drive it back to my grandmoms. It is a possibility it could be another coils since Friday one coil was replaced cause it misfired due to water getting into it. But only one was changed not all 4 coils. Water got into the coils when we were power washing the engine bay so now apparently we can't power wash the engine bay all nice and clean because water leaks into them unless we take them out or blow out all water. Well tomorrow we are calling about it and see what happens hopefully they come tow it cause I doubt it make it up to cherry hill. this sucks I just want my car to be okay...

      I got the service transmission error too. I have a 1.4 auto stick btw. Called roadside assistance 3 times and got directed to the nearest dealer, got towed to one. Right now the car is still with the dealer. For more than 2 weeks now I have been driving a crappy 200 rental. I have been to 3 different dealer and none of their transmission techs can figure out the problem. Now they are telling me that they will replace the transmission. It seems to me that dodge has no clue on how to fix their own transmission. I loved the car-when it was working, but now I have pretty much given up on it.
