A big thank-you goes out to Nepo for providing us with a short clip of the exhaust note from his Turbocharged 2013 Dodge Dart Rallye. This is a completely stock vehicle, and as you will hear it has a very nice tuned exhaust note. For a 1.4L Turbo it sure sounds awesome. Enjoy the Turbocharged 1.4L grumble and rumble.

The gurgle sound and the pops are from the turbocharger. Sounds like a softer version of my Neon SRT-4. Might be the fact that the dart has a muffler from the factory and the SRT-4 did not(just resonators). Still sounds good for a 1.4 turbo though.
.. not from the turbo. If it was, my Passat would sound like that too.. It's the exhaust design; regardless it sounds great.
I'm assuming the sound is from back-pressure, and a very free-flowing muffler.
I'm adding this video, it's a walk through, but it's got the engine audio right @ the beginning.
So I know this was asked, but not too sure still.. the 2.0 Rallye with the dual exhaust... Will it sound similar minus the gurgle sound from the turbo engine?

Is that for sure? It seems dual exhaust is a standard feature as long as you are going with the Rallye edition. At least according to the site, and it doesn't say anything about taking it out either when you change engines.

The exhaust note is what caught my attention first lol, such a nice smooth tone when idling, but when given some gas they come to life and produce a great tone for a stock exhaust.
Dodge has dual exhaust listed as a standard feature on the Rallye trim along with the 2.0L. I have not seen one in person though, just going on what their website says.
I love that sound. Its pretty mean for a stock setup. On another note, I loved how you could hardly hear it on the inside if your windows are up. MAkes for a pretty peaceful ride... but from the outside, sounds bad ass.
Thanks, if I do anything, I just want it a little louder but not too much!
