My friend Bryan decided to give a try with some new tactics to install LED turn signals up front without giving an error message or hyper flashing. As most members know, or that I have seen, you can install resistors and get rid of hyper flashing but the error message of parking light out is still there. Me and him experimented with some resistors that he bought (did the math on what might be needed) and after installing one side NO errors and flashes perfectly with stock bulb in other side. Installed other side exactly the same but for some reason the parking and turn signal lights seem to be reversed from what they are on the driver side. We were getting errors and hyper flashing. Resistors were not warming up.
We luckily used T-taps and just swapped the resistors around and PRESTO the car has fully taken the LED turn signals without any errors, or hyper flashing on the dash. He has driven the past couple days with them on and has reported that everything has been perfect. No hiccups thus far.
I have never found anyone that ever fixed this issue. So this might be what the community was waiting for. This was on normal amber LED bulbs. Not switch backs. We will have to give that a try on my car maybe this weekend or next weekend (have to order the parts). We installed the LEDs on his car and we decided if everything goes all well we will go for it on mine as well. So within the next week or two I will be getting a full detailed write up on how to install and what is needed. We are just finishing up doing the road testing to make sure everything continuously works. One of the resistors is really small and gets STUPID hot. So we want to make sure that over time that won't cause any issues. We mounted it to the metal front bumper so there shouldn't be much issue there. We just want to make sure they don't get too hot over time. But resistors are supposed to get hot. That's what they do. We think it's just fine. The heat sink is very small so we will give some other options a try as well.

It's actually quite easy to replicate the error message when you have the lights on...turn on your blinker for a second and shut it off...does this at least 3 times...guaranteed error message.
I'm just curious what size resistors you used on the parking circuit. Cause I already have the turn signal circuits error free with 50W resistors.
But I've tried 10W, 25W, 50W, extra LED's...in every combination on the parking light circuit. So just curious what you guys are using that you might think is working.
This is the exact one we used.
Which side did he wire it into? Because when I used a 10W resistor is killed the system...though it was a 10ohm and not 20 ohm one...
But since my 50W resistors are working I didn't want to swap them. But I might later on down the road.
Anyone want to buy some 50W resistors? I have about 4 more that aren't on the car yet
