•Transmission: 6 Speed manual
•Current mileage: 1330
•Driving style: Easy - no aggressive. Trying to milk it for mileage
•Type of driving (Highway vs. City vs. Country): Mixed city 25%/open road 75%. 23-26 miles to work depending on the route. Max. speed on route 53 mph. Best mileage to date; 39 mpg
So far the little AERO has been a pleasure to drive. Still getting used to the lack of low end torque at low speeds. The car is a very comfortable cruiser, though.

My Dart
Dart Rallye - Black
17" Hyper Black Rims
2.0L Tigershark
6 Speed Auto w/ auto stick (haven't use auto stick function yet)
At 1200 miles now and avergaing 30-32 MPG
I live in the mountains of PA, althought a lot of highway driving (25% city, 75% highway), alot of up and down mountains. Plus I've been known to have a heavy foot from time to time.
I have never been a Dodge guy, but I am impressed and very pleased with my Dart

1.4L Turbo
6 spd manual
Mileage: 14500km or about 9000miles
Driving style: Well to say i'm aggressive is an understatement, unfortunatly theres tons of snow/ice all over the road right now so its not as fun. But like i tell everyone...."I don't drive, I Dart!"
I cannot say enough good things about this car, its handling, braking, power:weight, fuel efficiency its all just so GOOD! and its the best looking car in the class, hands down! can't wait for the aftermarket performance to start really rolling. Love the Dart! so does everyone that sees it

So far just over 100miles. No troubles thus far; I'm just getting used to the braking & the clutch gets me sometimes. I think I've killed (read:stalled) it 3x so far. lol

You're certainly doing a lot better than I did in my first 100 miles lol. My first 100 miles involved me leaving the dealership with literally an hours worth of experience driving manual, and having a 130 mile trip home. I couldn't tell you how many times I stalled the car.

The braking at first is really sticky.

yeah; i'm just used to the heavy-as-hades clutch from the Passat & the cable from the Neons.. been driving a stick since I learned how to in my ACR.

Me too. My B5 A4 clutch had an incredible amount of feedback compared to my Dart and I thought the Audi clutch felt light. I had a stage 3 clutch in my Mk3 Jetta VR6 and that thing was a nightmare to get used to, but awesome when I did. I do wish the clutch had more feel in the Dart, but I'll get used it.

I absolutely love mine! 7500 miles now and I can't say enough good things about it! 1.4, 6-speed, Limited. If I had one suggestion it would be to have first gear be just a little bit taller... Beyond that, I have zero complaints! This care is awesome!

First 60 Days
I picked up my Dart 2 months ago as of Thursday. I absolutely love it, though that has to be tempered with the fact it's my first car that isn't at least 20 years old. I did my homework, looking at the Focus, Cruze and Civic, before deciding to go the with Dart. I was looking for a good combination of gas mileage, power and reliability. Decided since the car isn't completely "new" that I'd take the risk.
I have a 1.4 L turbo Limited with the manual transmission. Wasn't looking for all the extras on the Limited, but the dealership hadn't been moving the manuals and offered a deal still in my price range.
I just passed 1900 miles - getting a hair over 30 mpg with almost 100% surface street driving. (Both on the car's measurements and my hand calculations.) After my first tank of figuring out what the car can do, I've been driving more how I like to, which means seeing how high I can get the MPG to go. The 'current MPG' readout is a fun distraction.
Had a relatively boring 2 months, so I've only taken one highway trip. Ran from Philadelphia to Fairfax, VA and got 38.5 mpg isolated on that trip - and that stretch of I-95 doesn't always allow for the normal highway driving experience.
I have zero serious complaints about the car. The thick side pillars mentioned in a lot of the reviews are a little annoying and, as some others on this board have mentioned, I've reached for the driver's window button only to succeed in lowering the rear windows on more than one occasion. Have had a bit of trouble getting use to the lack of feel in the clutch. My last car's was right at the floor and you could hear/feel every little thing in that car. I stalled a couple of days ago
One other thing - I'm in eastern MD and have seen all of 2 other Darts in 2 months.
Think I made the right call - can't wait for summer weather.
