Miles and counting Trans Control Module replaced at 33000 but other than that, "Trouble Free"
I would like to see if the peak boost is consistent. But hate to put a gauge on my car... I said this turbo was staying stock :O I work in Auburn Hills Mi. rumor has it 22 psi is the number needed to make the advertized 160 HP. I also here that they will boost peak at 17 psi sometimes ??? Still digging for the info on what condition causes that.. Programing info is hard to get for the type of testing i do on these cars. Would be nice if the car was supported by H.P. Tuners... LOL... I could really mess up the tune we messed with a Cruze, 1.4, thought that pos 6 speed auto was going to explode. It had the same off turbo lag that you would expect from a 1.4, But the Cruze was very consistent feeling as far as max HP. Dead stop, Rolling start, same car every time. BUT... it was a butt ugly Cruze...lol.. Sorry to ramble on, my point being i would like to get that same consistent HP from a Dart.

A little of both possibly. The 1.4L doesn't have much for power just off idle to begin with and then you have it fighting against the turbo as well all while trying to get the car moving. Not only that, but without the torque converter loading the engine at idle the turbo is allowed to slow down even more.

Just to clarify, it's not just a symptom with the DDCT, but with the manual trans too.
