Turning off Rain Sensing wiper mode in the SXT?

Hello all! I am new here and just bought a 2013 Dodge Dart SXT. The Rain Sensing mode on the wipers is driving me absolutely insane. Even when it's not raining, it seems to keep pushing the wipers to turn on. Even when I have it on "off", they are still going and going even when it's not raining, which is actually super annoying since it's snowy around here and the wipers are dragging across the windshield and making it even harder to see.

I have looked all through the manuals and the DVD to try to find out how to turn off the rain sensors, but it just says to use UConnect. However, the SXT does not have the UConnect touch screen.

Can anyone help me with this? I am running out of ideas.

    Thanks in advance!

I was gonna say, I'm pretty sure it was part of the "Tech package" - you can probably go to the dealer to have it turned off. Although they're not supposed to work unless you have them in the "on" position, if that makes sense.

If they're going when it's in the off position, you need to bring it to the dealer anyway, there's obviously a problem.

Yeah, it seems like that might be the best solution. I'm a little sad about it considering I just bought this car brand new on Friday, but hey... what can ya do?

Does the Rallye have the windshield sensors on them?

Comes in the Tech package, according to my window sticker; I may have a Limited, but I had to order that package to get the wipers.

    dllong,

Just spoke with my technical assistance group and they suggested getting your Dart in to the dealer, let them take a look.
Should just be able to shut it off by leaving your wipers in the off position.
