Congrats my man! It looks like your hard work paid off! I hope the system runs to your liking now! How did you check the update status again? Id like to check into mine as well! Especially since you said it fixes the one thing that bugs the crap out of me... the alphabetizing of the tracks on an album instead of numerical order!

Any changes to functionality via bluetooth?

Incidentally, I can't seem to find a USB stick that will work with it.

I haven't noticed any other changes at all so far. Still no messaging with iPhone.

It has to be formatted FAT32 and only 1 update file at a time can exist on it. And it should be the only file on the USB. Maybe try a smaller capacity drive too, I used a 16gb.

The Dart is super-finicky about USB sticks and updates. Oddly, the most reliable I've found are some el-cheapo "made in China under duress by the lowest bidder" 2GB units that I got from work. However, come to think of it, the USB connector on my car has a problem and even the slightest vibration will disconnect USB sticks. I've been using the SD card slot for music for at least 6 months now, possibly longer. There is no way I'm risking running an update when the USB connection might fail half-way through, especially on a unit on which I haven't had any problems or issues.

FAT32? Are you sure? I formatted mine NTFS, because the directions on the UConnect website said to use NTFS...

And it was an older-than-the-hills 4GB stick, not some modern high-speed-low-drag USB 3.0 32GB thing.

Yeah, those instructions are simply wrong. It's definitely FAT32, not NTFS. Like I said, though, the Dart is very finicky regarding USB sticks. Even some of the ones I use that are usually good sometimes will not allow some songs to be played in the Dart, even though they work 100% in any computer.
