My radio seems to have a mind of it's own, keeps switching back and forth to radio mode, then 10 min. goes by, skips to the usb and so. When playing music through the bluetooth, it will play all of 5 min, then just pauses on me. Am I missing something or what? And no I'm not touching the buttons on the wheel to change between modes.
Does it do this with no external device plugged in?
Nothing plugged in at all

Eh, thanks guys. Gonna call or maybe stop on my way home from work to show the dealer. I don't have the nav touch screen, just the plain cheap radio one. Seems like it's getting worse jumping to different modes.
My mom's Dart has the same problem. It's an SXT with an upgraded stereo system, but I'm not sure which one. When you're listening to a CD, for no apparent reason it sometimes switches to the radio. Or, you could be listening to FM and it will switch to AM. This started just a few days after driving off the lot.
She took it back to the dealer, and I guess they couldn't find anything physically wrong with it. She said they were going to have to "re-flash" the memory or something. Anyway, they'll call her when they figure out how to fix it. Great. This is the only other mention of this problem that I could find.
I had the same problem and the dealer replaced my stereo. Although the replacement has the same problem....
Happy Monday all,
I checked with our technical assistance group and this has yet to be brought to their attention here in Canada - not a known issue.
My only suggestion is to get your Darts in to the dealer and for those that have already, I can only suggest speaking with the Service Manager to discuss the issue in detail.

Would the steering wheel audio controls be the reason for it changing? (Through accidental pushing of these buttons, or malfunction?)
