the mopar rear diffuser is one sweet looking piece of plastic, but it is also quite expensive. i am currently in the process of converting my 1.4T Aero with hidden single exit to the "look" of dual exit, but i am going to stick with a single pipe, bump it up to 2.5 inch diameter, lose the suitcase muffler, add 1-2 resonators.

i got the dual exit fascia cheap, but now i am on the hunt for a decent pair of used OEM exhaust tips. they aint cheap if i have to buy them new from the dealer.

No, BUT, that's next on the list of upgrades. CAI and likely the Heartthrob dual.

Yeah, I saw that the diffuser was quite pricey for some plastic, but it does look sweet. Found other body kits I like as well, and ones that are body-color matching, too! If I did something other than the fascia, I think it would likely be that, so I could get rid of the blackish colored stock look, and go with one that compliments the blueness of the car. Love your idea for your exhaust!

To be honest, you could just go with the heartthrob and do dual turn-downs to save on cost. If I didn't have the "rallye" rear fascia I would have just went with a turn-down type exhaust. Just throwin' that out there to save ya some costs.

I can't take credit for the idea, it came from this awesome community, I just think it's the best and most economical exhaust option for my turbo.

That's actually a great point. While I love the idea of the dual look, I can't stand the darn core cost for a $40 fascia. On the photos on the heartthrob website, it shows the exhaust outs are quite long, and stick out of the bumper quite a bit. I assume they'd need to be cut slightly to allow for room for turn-downs?

they want a core cost for a dual exhaust fascia?!?!?!?!?!?! that is crazy, i mean its part of the bumper but its not THE bumper. wow :-(

if you go the turn down route, any decent local muffler shop will be able to help you on any custom work, if needed...

Yeah allmoparparts has a $100 core charge due to Mopar's fees for the $41 fascia. You get the core charge refunded once you send your original bumper fascia back, but that's a lot of work, and postage isn't free either..

And good to hear, I might call a local muffler shop. I can do the install myself, but will need help with the turn-down.
