      Waterless Car washes?

I love my black dart but I hate it.

I don't have access to spot free water if you would. Just water out of a hose and no matter what I do, I get water spots. I was looking at waterless wash and waxes. They're expensive, but if I can eliminate the water why not?

I need something slick, so many trees and dust and shit here it all clings to the black car. I wash it and 2 minutes later, dusty.

I have some collonite marine wax im going to put on. I had it on my 1973 charger and that stuff beaded for over 10 months and I drove it daily.

I hardly ever wash my car. I use Meguiars car care product exclusively. I use a California duster every morning, I use Meguiars Quick Detailer once a week and my car looks wonderful. I do the same on my wifes black 300. quick and easy. I keep the quick detailer and the duster in my trunk all the time. Granted you live in a significantly different environment than I do, but if you have to wash your car......dry it and then go over it with quick detailer, no water spots, ever.....Quick detailer helps your wax last longer as well, like conditioner for your hair.

Well, before you go down that road, you do have other options. I live in an area that has very hard water as well, and I manage well enough with car washes. Some things you can try:
1: Hose filter - many are sold on amazon, or at big box stores. They are typically used for people with pools, RV's and such. I have one, but honestly it doesn't do much, still, for $20 they are worth a shot.
2: Wash your car in the rain - rain water is by far the cleanest water you can wash your car with. It will contain so much less chemicals and metals than any water that comes out of a garden hose. This is the method I use the most. Wash the entire car while it's raining/ sprinkling. Then pull it into the garage to dry it off.

3: Chemical Guy's products (or other products): One thing that I've bought and liked is After Wash.

Basically the main thing is just to wash the car in sections, and always dry in between sections. Yes, it takes more time, but you should be able to wash, dry, wash dry and get it all done before it all turns to water spots.

Hmm, I've been trying to do that. I make sure I wash in spots so that soap doesn't dry. Also, i keep in the shade. I did take my car to a touchless wash (had a spot free rinse at the end). Then dried it off with microfiber and it was imacculate. I just don't want to be going to a car was everyday.

I've been looking at other products. I use the meguirs gold class wash. Turtle wax bug and tar remover if I have bugs (damn love bugs). and Jet black quick wax for a top wax whenever I wash it.

Don't know what a quick detailer is? Mine shooting me a link for it?

So far the only Instant Detailer I've used is this from Mothers.

However, if washing and detailing is something you're very interested in, I strongly suggest looking looking at this YouTube channel called Ammo NYC. I've watched a ton of his vids, and I know that in at least one of them he suggested using quick wax as an instant detailer because it lubricates to remove the filth, and also adds more protective layers to the paint at the same time.
